Rhino brand chemical chemical frosting paste (also known as glass frosted ink) is a newly developed high-tech product of our company. Using this product can replace the old-style sandblasting operation method. Frosted effect (also known as frosted glass, frosted glass, milk painting glass) can be produced by screen printing or drawing directly on the glass with a brush. The principle is that the surface of the glass is corroded by the special compound in the frosting paste, which produces many microscopic "canyons" and "mountains" to diffuse the light reflection, so the glass surface has a translucent effect. Its advantages are as follows:
The frosting process does not require heating or baking.
The frosted surface is permanent and neither fades nor comes off.
The dot frosting speed is fast (10-30 seconds), and the pattern is clear.
The effect is uniform in mass production.
The initial ivestment is small and the efficiency is high, and it can also be used by small glass technology manufacturers.
Frosting paste is suitable for general lighting carving, artistic lighting, mirrors, glass instrument scale and text, glass building materials, interior decoration glass, partition glass, bathroom glass, automotive tempered glass sign printing, glass door text pattern manufacturing, and so on. Each kilogram of frosted paste can print 10-15 square meters of frosted glass (based on one side) according to the thickness of the screen photoresist.
First, the use of frosted cream
First, fully mix the frosting paste to make it completely mixed evenly to facilitate printing and give full play to the corrosion effect.
In winter or when the temperature is low (below 20 ° C), the active ingredients in the frosting cream may form crystals. Please “sit” with hot water (that is, use hot water to heat the outside of the barrel), and apply stirring to crystals Ready to use.
Degrease, decontaminate, and dehumidify the glass surface to be printed, and avoid touching the printing surface with your hands to avoid affecting the printing effect.
As with the traditional screen printing process, spread the frosting cream evenly along the upper end of the screen to scrape the frosting powder evenly to the other side.
Remove the glass and rinse the frost with water. After washing the glass, let it dry naturally, and the pattern and text will appear immediately.
2. Printing materials and process requirements
It is recommended to use Swiss nylon or polyester single mesh cable with 100 mesh or 120 mesh 45 ° diagonal mesh for the best effect.
The plate is made of water-based photosensitive emulsion, and the thickness of the photosensitive rubber is about 0.2-0.3 mm. Generally, the photosensitive rubber is coated three to five times.
The scraer is recommended to use 85 ° C imported scraper.
The distance between the glass surface and the screen-the screen distance is 2-5mm according to the tightness of the screen.
Third, the type and application of frosting cream
model
Scope of application
Type I
Fine patterns, such as logos, artistic lights, coffee tables, mirrors, bathroom glass, etc.
Type II
Milk painting glass
Fourth, precautions for use
After standing for a period of time, this product will have a water-based protective layer to prevent evaporation.
When the product is wet, the frosting effect is slightly worse, please extend the time after printing, and then rinse.
The working environment is best equipped with ventilation facilities. Operators should wear rubber gloves if necessary.
Do not add water or other substances to dilute the matte cream to avoid affecting the effect.
If the cream touches your skin or your eyes, rinse immediately with tap water.
